Kingston Comes From a Family of Scholars
Kingston’s mother, Elizabeth, earned a doctorate in anthropology from Harvard and later held library jobs at Harvard, Boston College and Merrimack College. She was recently named Ghana’s permanent representative to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
His father, Kwasi, also has a doctorate from the University of Illinois and works as a librarian at Kingston’s alma mater Boston College.
