Kevin Durant, already one the best basketball players in the NBA today, has continued to develop his game off the court and has become of one the best athlete investors around.
Already an owner of Thirty Five Ventures and Boardroom media network, Durant and business partner Rich Kleiman announced they established a brand partnership with blockchain technology and digital engagement company, Dapper Labs.
Founded in 2018, Dapper Labs is the company behind NBA Top Shot and the Flow blockchain.
Through their new partnership, as per the release, Dapper Labs’ NBA Top Shot platform will be brought to life “in unique ways with prominence for Durant across the platform.”
“Top Shot is the future for basketball fans – bringing them closer to players and building community across the sport in new and innovative ways. At Boardroom, we’ve also been at the forefront of the NFT space, and I’m excited to partner in advancing NFT’s further into the mainstream, creating and curating exclusive Moments and content with Top Shot,” said Durant.
