Caleb and Cody Martin
Nevada was one of the feel-good stories of last year’s unpredictable NCAA tournament. The seventh-seeded Wolfpack went on a surprise run to the Sweet 16 while being led by a pair of twins.
The Martins provide scoring punch for a Nevada team that may be short on size but not on skills. Caleb is an inside-out threat who presents a matchup nightmare for opposing coaches. The 2018 Mountain West Player of the Year led the Wolfpack in scoring and was second in three-point field goals.
Meanwhile, Cody was named the conference’s defensive player of the year last season. Offensively, he’s an aggressive slasher who’s adept at finishing in the paint. Cody led Nevada in field-goal percentage last year. Both forwards are well-rounded and can play multiple positions.
The twins tested the NBA waters by entering themselves into last year’s draft, but elected to come back to school after getting feedback from the pros. Nevada returns many of the key players from last year’s squad and could be in for an even bigger year if the Martins can build on last year’s tournament experience.
