Carsen Edwards
Purdue’s 6-foot-1 dynamo established himself as one of college basketball’s elite point guards last season. He led the team in scoring with 18.5 points per game and finished the year All-Big Ten First Team, while helping lead the Boilermakers to 30 wins—the highest total in school history.
Edwards is a deadly shooter, making 40.6 percent of his three pointers last season. He picked up where he left off in the season opener—burying seven threes in a win over Fairfield. Purdue’s junior guard can take his game to the next level by developing his point-guard skills and becoming a better floor general. He averaged just under three assists last year.
