With the New Year underway, many people have already made plans to implement healthier habits into their routines. The company, MyFitnessPal, created the free 14-day Jumpstart Your Health program and will be partnering with entrepreneur and television personality Ayesha Curry.

The in-app challenge is aimed at helping participants start 2023 on the right track. It will feature insights from nutrition and fitness experts as well as contributions from MyFitnessPal members. Ayesha Curry will add her tips, tricks and recipes to the program as part of the collaboration. Participants will be able to learn how Curry introduced small, daily changes into her lifestyle and experienced positive results.

Curry is optimistic about the new partnership. She stated, “I’m so excited to partner with MyFitnessPal on the Jumpstart Your Health Challenge to share some of the tips and recipes that have really worked for me.” The New York Times bestselling author has become a popular voice in matters of food and lifestyle. Curry is the founder and CEO of Sweet July, a quarterly magazine and business that focuses on wellness, fashion, beauty and more.

MyFitnessPal was established in 2005 and has become a leading app in global nutrition and food tracking. Users are able to achieve their fitness goals by logging their food intake and recording exercise activity, weight and wellness habits. CEO Tricia Han noted the New Year’s significance in making a commitment to developing new traits. Han stated, “the start of a new year marks an opportunity to reset and establish intentions for the next 12 months.” MyFitnessPal members have access to hundreds of recipes and workout routines. Han reflected on the resourcefulness of the program, stating, “whether it’s about weight, nutrition or fitness, MyFitnessPal recognizes that everyone’s wellness goals are different and we have the tools to help navigate every journey.”

Members can also expect to hear from a registered dietitian and lead nutrition scientist at MyFitnessPal, Stephanie Nelson. Christian Orlando will add his expertise as an athletic trainer and certified strength and conditioning specialist to the program. Individuals interested in taking part in the two-week challenge can download the MyFitnessPal app from the App Store and Google Play store.
