With the beginning of the month, the start of BIPOC Mental Health Month is also amongst us.

In honor of the month of awareness, here are five products by Black-owned businesses to help deal with stress, one of the leading mental health struggles in the U.S.

    1. Peak and Valley Balance My Stress Blend: Founded by entrepreneur, neuroscience researcher and current CEO, Nadine Joseph, Peak and Valley is a wellness company that was born out of Joseph’s own experiences with stress and her natural approach to it. Rooted in herbal ingredients, Peak and Valley products are made of ingredients ethically sourced from their native region and are used sustainably.

The company offers a variety of products for wellness, including their Balance My Stress blend. Made of Ashwagandha, Reishi Mushroom and Eleuthero Root, the blend can be added to any drink to help increase energy, decrease fatigue and reduce stress.

While the company offers many products, its Sunday Blossom Perfumed Candle has been recognized for its soothing abilities. Created from lemon zest, pink rose, upcycled cedarwood, musk and other scents, the candle’s clean ingredients give users comfort and relaxation.
