Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing serious new accusations of sexual assault, with several lawsuits expected to be filed soon.
Attorney Tony Buzbee held a live press conference this afternoon (Oct.1), announcing that he is currently representing 120 individuals—the new allegations against Combs span over two decades.
Buzbee stressed his commitment to exposing the alleged crimes and those who enabled the behavior behind the scenes.
“These accusations involve violent sexual assault, facilitated sex with drugs, the distribution of videos, and sexual abuse of minors,” Buzbee shared, adding that his team has amassed considerable evidence, including pictures, videos and texts— some of which allegedly included other high-profile individuals.
Buzbee disclosed that more than 3,000 people have contacted his office, with 62% of the accusers identifying as African American. Combs’ new accusers hail from over 25 states, mainly New York, California, Georgia and Florida and some of the accusers were minors at the time, with the youngest alleged victim being only nine years old.
Combs’ legal team, led by lawyer Erica Wolff, has vehemently denied the accusations, noting that she “cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.”
“That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors,” attorney Erica Wolff said in a statement. “He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
Combs has been hit with 11 lawsuits since Nov. 17, 2023. Nine of the lawsuits directly accuse the music mogul of sexual assault stemming from back in the 90s.
Combs was arrested on Sept. 16. The following day, he was arraigned on sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution charges. He is being held at the Special Housing Unit at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
He continues to maintain his innocence.
