Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao II Set for September 19th

For those still complaining about the first time Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao faced off in 2015, you will have another chance to debate the two as they’re stepping in the ring once again this September on Netflix.

That’s right, Mayweather-Pacquiao II is going down later this year on September 19th, 2026 at the Sphere in Las Vegas.

Already recognized as two of the greatest to ever do it, Floyd (50-0, 27 KOs) and Manny (62-8-3, 39 KOs) will don the gloves once more and make history by becoming the first boxing match to be held at Las Vegas’ hottest new venue.

The first fight, dubbed the “Fight of the Century,” generated a record 4.6 million PPV buys and an estimated $410 million in revenue. Additionally, according to the release, “set a world-record live gate of $72 million at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.”

Now they’ve looking to make history once again.

“Floyd and I gave the world what remains the biggest fight in boxing history. The fans have waited long enough—they deserve this rematch, and it will be even bigger now that it will be streamed live globally on Netflix,” said Pacquiao. “I want Floyd to live with the one loss on his professional record and always remember who gave it to him. As always, I dedicate this fight to my fellow Filipinos around the world and to bringing glory to the Philippines.”

Mayweather wasn’t having any talk about finally getting the first “L” of his career.

“I already fought and beat Manny once. This time will be the same result,” said Floyd.

Mayweather has been active as of late, announcing that, after nine years, he’s coming out retirement through a multi-fight partnership with CSI Sports/FIGHT SPORTS

His first event after the unretirement announcement is the April 25th event against Mike Tyson, who last “fought” Jake Paul on Netflix in 2024.

Floyd last fought in 2017 when he beat up Conor McGregor while Pacquiao fought WBC welterweight champ Mario Barrios last year in a title fight that ended in a majority draw.

Now we know that their next fight will be against each other.

Floyd, who is no stranger to making big events, is the undisputed PPV king, dominating the format before it started its decline.

Out of the ten most-watched fights by PPV buys, Mayweather owns five of them: Mayweather vs Pacquiao (2015, #1 with 4.6 million buys), Mayweather vs Conor McGregor (2017, #2, 4.3 million), Mayweather vs Oscar De La Hoya (2007, #3, 2.44 million), Mayweather vs Canelo Alvarez (2013, #4, 2.2 million) and Mayweather vs Miguel Cotto (2012, #10, 1.5 million). The other five spots are owned by Mike Tyson.

Now he’ll be returning to the ring on the world’s biggest streaming platform against the man he made PPV history with.
