CeeLo Green Goes Beyond Music in Partnership With Victor George Spirits

Whether you know CeeLo Green as a member of the rap group Goodie Mob, a five-time Grammy award-winning entertainer or for being a former coach on NBC’s hit show The Voice, CeeLo is now taking on the role of entrepreneur. The award-winning artist has partnered with Victor George Spirits (VGS), which is Fort Lauderdale’s first Black-owned distillery.

The Victor George Spirits brand is described as “a clean smooth American made vodka promising no hangovers – no headaches – no burn.” The alcohol is hailed as gluten-free and “one of the only in the world that guarantees a smooth silky taste from the beginning to the finish.” VGS’s main drinks include “VG” Vodka and Fort Mose Bourbon, which are both produced at Palm Beach Distillery, a business the brand acquired in January 2022. The company first launched in 2019 and has developed into one of the fastest-growing Black-owned spirits companies in the country.

CeeLo Green and Victor George Harvey were introduced to each other at a 2020 VGS-hosted Super Bowl party at Bar One in Miami. Both Green and George are looking forward to the partnership and brand expansion. When speaking on the new agreement, CeeLo noted “my enthusiasm in partnering with the Victor George Spirits brands is immeasurable. It is literally an extension of my own good taste.” George shared similar sentiments and stated, “We want true partners and that means they share in the profits, creativity, growth and overall equity of the brand.” He continued on to add that “we are very selective when making these choices and we knew Cee Lo would be a good one.”

Interested buyers can purchase Victor George Vodka in 44 states at most major retailers such as Total Wine, Kroger, Trader Joe’s and more. Last year, the brand also began selling flavored caramel vodka and its line of Fort Mose Bourbon. The bourbon was initially sold online exclusively, but it is now available in ten states. The VGS brand is also expected to break ground on an 18,000-square-foot building which will house a distillery, restaurant, cigar lounge and rooftop patio next month to commemorate Black History Month.
