Rapper Busta Rhymes is trending online after his anti-mask rant at a recent concert was uploaded online.
While the government is working hard to keep the virus contained — Busta offered his thoughts about the ongoing pandemic.
“In the last sixteen f—king months, COVID could suck a d—k,” he told the crowd. “All these little weird ass government policies and mandates, suck a d—k. They’re trying to take our civil liberties away. It feels good to be back outside, we outside for real!”
According to a new study published by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, vaccine effectiveness against Covid-19 dropped from 91% to 66% once the Delta variant began to spread.
President Joe Biden’s administration is “aggressively” trying to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
“We are acting aggressively to stay ahead of the virus, and are planning for booster shots starting the week of September 20 pending FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) and ACIP (Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices) approval,” White House Covid-19 response coordinator Jeff Zients told reporters on Tuesday.
State officials are urging the public to receive the vaccination and to wear masks.
But Busta knows best. He insists that it’s his ordained right not to wear the potentially life-saving gear.
“It’s called a God-given right for freedom, right?” he continued.
“No human being is supposed to tell you you can’t even breathe freely. F—k your mask! Some of y’all might feel differently but f—k your mask! You can’t eat food with a f—king mask on. You can’t even see each other smile with a mask on. I come from a time, way before, I used to wanna holla at a chick, I used to have to do s–t with my face to let her know that I’m into her. All of that energy gets blocked when your mask is on. Energy is important and we are all conductors of good energy.”
