The son of Taiwanese immigrants, “Linsanity” took the league by storm when the Harvard grad made his debut off the bench for the New York Knicks in 2012. Lin captured the hearts of the Madison Square Garden faithful with breathtaking displays that included a 38-point performance in a showdown with Kobe Bryant’s Los Angeles  Lakers. Lin had previously spent time in the G-league and as a Warriors reserve.

Since leaving the Knicks, the nine-year vet has been a serviceable guard for the Rockets, Lakers, Hornets, Nets and Hawks. Lin was signed by the Toronto Raptors after being bought out by Atlanta last month. He’ll be a key piece for Toronto, as the team makes a push to earn its first NBA Finals appearance in franchise history
