All The Smoke has been on the rise and diversifying its media business over the past few years, and now they’ve done it again.

Earlier this week, All The Smoke Productions (ATS Productions) announced it was expanding its presence in long-form documentary and unscripted series by signing a “multi-project unscripted development deal with Hawley Road Productions, founded by Emmy Award-winning producer and writer Howard Bryant (The Comeback: 2004 Boston Red Sox).”

It was a partnership that made sense and was seamless as it relates to storytelling, according to ATSP COO, Brian Daley.

“All The Smoke is built on authentic storytelling, and we’ve always focused on projects with partners that bring a unique voice and unfiltered perspective,” said Dailey in a statement. “We’re now exploring new ways to tell those stories—reimagining how they’re created and where they live, beyond traditional models. We’re excited to partner with Howard because he brings a distinct and innovative vision to the documentary space that lines up perfectly with our ethos and trajectory.”

The new partnership also enables the company’s storytelling to maintain authenticity to telling sports stories and maintain cultural narratives.

“This is an incredible opportunity to do meaningful work,” said Bryant, who spent almost two decades as a columnist for ESPN. “All The Smoke has the voice, credibility and reach to tell the stories that aren’t being told. Brian, Matt and I have discussed working together for years — now it’s time.”

When you combine the projects Dailey has overseen, including Kevin Garnett: Anything Is Possible, Quiet Storm: The Ron Artest Story, Legacy: Bob Hurley and The Resurgence (DeMarcus Cousins), and the work of the Emmy Award-winning Bryant such as The Comeback: 2004 Boston Red Sox (Netflix), you have a championship team.
