Amber Cabral Launches New ‘Human(ing) Well’ Podcast on the Women’s Empowerment Network

“Why does trying to be a good person so often leave us feeling burned out, anxious, and overwhelmed?”

Author, speaker and corporate executive, Amber Cabral, asks listeners this poignant question in the trailer of her inspirational new podcast, “Human(ing) Well.”

The debut episode of Human(ing) Well hit the Women’s Empowerment Network today (Feb. 5) at 8 a.m. EST. (Tune in every Wednesday morning for brand-new episodes).

“This podcast is about discovering how to show up for life fully, intentionally and without losing yourself in the process,” Cabral adds.  The hustle and bustle of daily life can constantly pull one’s attention—politics, media, family, friends, bills, etc. Cabral emphasizes the importance of checking on yourself to better navigate life’s complexities.

In her debut episode, “What Does It Mean to Human Well?” Cabral welcomes listeners to this new space and gives a rundown of what to expect in this series and shares how each episode will focus on the “four pillars of the Human(ing) Well framework: health, wealth, relationships and growth.”

By centering on these four pillars, Cabral highlights the importance of holistic well-being and how it builds “resilience, joy, and meaningful connections.” Human(ing) Well helps listeners focus on what they need to do for themselves so they can move with intention in this world instead of falling victim or adding to the corruption that haunts us all.

Cabral also shares her own personal journey of grief after losing her father in 2023 and the trials and tribulations she encountered trying to find her peace again. She connects her self-understanding to the current confusion and misinformation surrounding DEI policy in America. Cabral breaks down how “guilt” seemed to be the driving force behind DEI work instead of a cohesive mission to empower others.

“Guilt is never, ever a good enough motivator, certainly not for [the] long term,” she says in the premiere episode, which highlights how improving one’s community starts by improving oneself and how self-care can make you a better human. “I want us to stop the self-betrayal. I want us to be willing to be whole so that we can make the kinds of impacts that we want.”

    About Amber Cabral

Amber Cabral is a professional speaker, inclusion strategist, coach, former Walmart executive and author. She is the author of two books: “Allies and Advocates: Creating an Inclusive and Equitable Culture” and “Say More About That: …And Other Ways to Speak Up, Push Back and Advocate for Yourself and Others.”  In February 2024, Cabral hosted a TED Talk focused on connecting with others who may be different from oneself. Her lecture, “3 Steps to Better Connect with Your Fellow Humans,” gained over 600,000 views on the platform.

Now, Cabral takes center stage as the newest powerhouse voice to join the Women’s Empowerment Network. Human(ing) Well is brought to life by the visionary minds at Evolve You Past Conscious (EYPC) Media Network.
