April Ryan: “Omarosa Taped Me, Too!”

April Ryan, bureau chief for American Urban Radio Network, said former friend Omarosa Manigault Newman, sold her out to Donald Trump.

In an interview on The Karen Hunter Show on SiriusXM’s Urban View yesterday, Ryan said that Newman, former White House aide who has been making the media rounds following the release of damaging audiotapes of Trump and other administration members, also taped her and was instrumental in Ryan being mistreated and blocked from reporting on the Trump administration.

“I warned everybody,” Ryan said. “I talk about Omarosa) taping me when we had that fight. It was ugly. It was really ugly…She stabbed me in the back, she stabbed me in the neck, the eyeball, the front. She tried to cut my head off and put it on a platter for Donald Trump.”

Ryan chronicles this exchange and other incidents while covering the White House for the past 20 years in her book, Under Fire, which comes out September 1.
