No BAL Players Have Tested Positive for COVID-19.
The NBA suspended its season after Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert, tested positive for the virus. It was subsequently revealed that Donovan Mitchell, another Jazz player, as well as five players from the Brooklyn Nets and several Los Angeles Lakers had also tested positive for coronavirus.
To date, no players from the BAL have tested positive for the virus. COVID-19 has now been confirmed in at least 30 of Africa’s 54 countries, including Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Senegal and Nigeria.
