Howard’s floor general leads the team in points and assists heading into the new year. The New Jersey native has typically been a prolific three-point shooter, but his percentages have dipped considerably this year. He’s shooting just over 32 percent from behind the arc this season after posting a 36 percent mark last year. His streaky shooting did not stop him from posting 29 points in the team’s conference opener against Hampton in late December.
