Make sure your voice is heard!

Our democracy is stronger when everyone participates, and it is weaker when anyone is left out. Today is National Voter Registration Day. Make sure you're registered to vote at https://t.co/jL2CY3YWZW.

    — Vice President Kamala Harris Archived (@VP46Archive) September 20, 2022

Allegations of voter suppression have marred recent elections, so now more than ever, it’s crucial for you to get out and register to vote.

In a statement released from the White House, President Joe Biden expressed the importance of protecting voter rights.”

“As President, I will do everything in my power to protect the right to vote and ensure that every American has a free and fair opportunity to exercise this fundamental liberty,” the statement partially reads. “This means appointing highly qualified advocates to the Department of Justice and doubling the agency’s voting rights enforcement staff to ensure the Department has the resources to fight voter suppression in the courts. It also means issuing an Executive Order to establish a whole-of-government effort to promote access to voter registration and election information, especially in some of our most underserved communities.”

Hey, folks! It's National Voter Registration Day. Be sure you're registered to vote and request your absentee ballot using this link! https://t.co/4ft8mvekYA pic.twitter.com/xEx9T6YdQr
