Fellow NAACP Image Award recipient, Nick Cannon, has made news over the years for his frequent fathering of children. The 42-year-old actor has fathered 12 children with 6 different women, all under the age of 12. He recently welcomed his 12th child, Halo Marie, with Alyssa Scott in December. The rapper and host of “The Masked Singer” recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight and of course, the topic of him having more children came up. Cannon told the platform, “God decides when we’re done [laughs] but I believe I definitely got my hands full.” He continued on to tease, “But when I’m 85, you never know. I might.” The father of 12 has a reported net worth of $20 million dollars, according to celebritynetworth.com.
While Nick Cannon lets God decide the fate of his future children, Miami rapper Gunplay and his finance, Vonshae, are sending prayers up for their almost two-week-old child. The Morales family welcomed a baby girl into the world on February 15 and learned she was born with a rare heart defect, supra cardiac total anomalous pulmonary venous return. The couple announced that the baby underwent open-heart surgery on February 24 and may be in need of another surgery. Since making the announcement, the family has received an outpouring of support from fans and their Love and Hip-Hop castmates, Amara La Negra and Shay Johnson.
Kodak Black, another Miami rapper, was a topic of conversation this weekend after it was announced that an arrest warrant had been issued for his arrest. Bill Kapri, better known as Kodak Black, allegedly violated the conditions of his pretrial release. Authorities say the rapper first failed to submit to random drug and alcohol testing on February 3 and tested positive for drugs five days later, according to WPLG. Now his release has been revoked and an arrest warrant was signed by a Broward County judge. Kodak Black was initially arrested in July of last year after being arrested for having oxycodone pills as well as an expired driver’s license and tags.
This weekend also saw the return of boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather. The Boxing Hall of Famer made his long-awaited in-ring debut in London on Saturday against pro-MMA fighter Aaron “The Joker” Chalmers. The fight took place at the O2 Arena and was broadcast on Zeus Network. Mayweather and the former Geordie Shore star ended the exhibition match with no decision. This is Mayweather’s sixth boxing exhibition since exiting as a pro with a 50-0 career record. Zeus Network also streamed a match between reality stars Natalie Nunn and Tommie Lee that ended in a second-round victory for Nunn.
