Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy says she will withdraw from the Colorado GOP primary ballot after the state Supreme Court ruled Tuesday to disqualify former President Donald Trump.
“Today’s decision is the latest election interference tactic to silence political opponents and swing the election for whatever puppet the Democrats put up this time by depriving Americans of the right to vote for their candidate of choice,” said Ramaswamy via X (formerly Twitter).
Vivek Ramaswamy says he'll withdraw his name from the Colorado ballot in protest to Trump's name being withheld, and "demands" fellow candidates Haley, DeSantis, and Christie do the same.

Colorado removed Trump from the ballot under the 14th Amendment’s “insurrection clause” in a 4-3 ruling. The court found that his engagement in insurrection, inciting the riot with false claims of election fraud and referring them to the Capitol, led to the unprecedented violence on that day.
“I pledge to withdraw from the Colorado GOP primary unless Trump is also allowed to be on the state’s ballot, and I demand that Ron DeSantis, Chris Christie, and Nikki Haley to do the same immediately — or else they are tacitly endorsing this illegal maneuver which will have disastrous consequences for our country,” Ramaswamy said in a statement. “This is what an actual attack on democracy looks like: in an un-American, unconstitutional, and unprecedented decision, a cabal of Democrat judges are barring Trump from the ballot in Colorado.”
Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said the former president plans to appeal the ruling.
