Billed as “Haitian culture in a glass,” LS Cream Liqueur is ready to take the wine and spirits industry by storm. The company was founded by Myriam Jean-Baptiste and Stevens Charles who are both of Haitian descent. LS Cream Liqueur offers customers a low-lactose, all-natural and gluten-free product that can be enjoyed year-round.

The company will now have a new investor after announcing an investment from Fearless Fund in a press release. “Fearless Fund’s investment in LS Cream will allow us to scale our business and increase our distribution footprint in the US while expanding our presence in our current markets,” stated Jean-Baptiste.

Fearless Fund is aimed at educating and empowering women of color who are entrepreneurs. Jean-Baptiste and Charles are able to introduce a cordial that is inspired by the traditional Haitian drink known as cremas. The company’s co-founder, Arian Simone sees LS Cream Liqueur as a “delicious and transformative product.” It received a 7-figure investment from Fearless Fund which brings the liquor brand’s valuation to $10 million.

Cremas recipes can vary as they are typically homemade in Haitian culture and served at family gatherings or during the holiday. The liqueur is made from a rich blend of fresh cream, spirits and a variety of spices. The duo decided to launch the liqueur brand after noticing that stores lacked the item. Although LS Cream Liqueur is intended for the masses, it still has a homemade feel as the recipes were handwritten by Stevens’ late grandmother. The company’s name also gets its signature LS from his grandmother’s initials.

Potential purchasers have the option to pick up a bottle of LS Cream Liqueur from a store near you or have it delivered. There are several cocktail recipes listed on the company’s website that can incorporate the liqueur. Those recipes include drinks such as the LS Chai, Spicy LS Coco and LS Marble.

The company also values giving back to the culture that has provided this opportunity. It has partnered with Hope For Haiti to fund water filtration systems for communities in the southern portion of the nation. Hope For Haiti offers programs for education, clean water access, healthcare and infrastructure.

Jean-Baptiste will be hosting a meet-and-greet event in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, June 13th.
