Candace Owens is still f*cking stupid, and I’m literally hot, no, literally.
I am currently sitting in a hotel room in Las Vegas after having survived the literal hottest day on record in the city yesterday. It is now Monday, July 8, 2024; I have been here since Thursday, which is the same day I saw Owens say that dumb sh*t about science being a cult and, most specifically, science being pagan. She spoke about not being a flat-earther but not being a round-earther either.
What the f*ck does that even mean?
Why is the shape of the earth, which has been filmed from outer space by multiple countries, up for debate? Out of all the conspiracy theories there are, being a flat earther, or even entertaining the idea, has to be the dumbest sh*t ever. I wish it were flat so dumbasses like Owens could fall off the face of it, but alas, that is not possible. Additionally, what is the rub here? What is gained by erroneously telling people the world is round? What money does that generate, that everyone in the world is in on it? It is just like the “Covid hoax.” Do you mean to tell me that millions of people died globally, but a hillbilly from the part of the country with the lowest literacy rate is the person who could not be deceived?
Candace Owens: "I'm not a flat earther. I'm not a round earther. Actually, what I am is I am somebody who has left the cult of science… Science is a pagan faith."

I swear, the MAGA movement is a magnet for the dumbest segments of American society. 💩 pic.twitter.com/pqEl2n0zoq
A few hours after seeing Owens proudly proclaim how stupid she was, I got off the plane and entered the hottest temperature I had ever experienced in my entire life. Mind you, I arrived at around 11 pm and grew up in Florida, and it just kept getting worse. In fact, according to the National Center for Environmental Information, the Earth’s temperature has increased at an average of .08 degrees C/ .14 degrees F yearly since 1880.
What happened in 1880 to make it do that?
Oh, maybe it was the Industrial Revolution and the massive burning of coal that could have had some effect. Las Vegas is obviously hotter than most places, but it is getting hotter than it has ever been, some places around the city recorded 120 degrees, yesterday. We were outside because that is what you do when you go on vacation, but it was difficult to breathe; our group found it difficult to walk for more than a few minutes without being utterly exhausted. My hands and legs were swollen, and the worst part was that I was in fairly good shape. This is not sustainable, and there is no amount of denying science that is going to make it sustainable.
SH*T WILL MELT, PEOPLE WILL DIE!
Candace Owens is a professional dolt; there is no other way to put it. You have to be either a complete and utter idiot to think that science is a cult, or at least the audience to which you pander is. It is so interesting how the Christian right rejects science but not miracles. If you do not believe in the basic laws of physics and science in general, then how can you juxtapose an alleged phenomenon against it? If you believe that most people cannot walk on water because, you know, it is scientifically impossible, then the mere thought that Jesus could do it is where the miracle unfolds, no?! Not to mention, there is actual data and PICTURES of glaciers from decades ago having melted halfway down, how is that a lie? You can believe wholeheartedly in things you do not see, but the things you do are where the logic devolves? How is a several thousand-year-old book, written by a bunch of people who did not have indoor plumbing and thought it was a good idea to stone women who were no longer virgins, somehow more equipped at giving life tips than people who collect and study data?

“I’m not a flat-earther, I’m not a round-earther. actually what I am is somebody who has left the cult of science.”
pro tip: science doesn’t give a shit whether or not you believe in it…
Why is there such an assault on facts? Why is something that you can only believe in with your imagination somehow more plausible than the earth dying, with evidence? The Republican party has an extreme problem with history and science and I’m trying to figure out what it is about facts that vexes them so? When that dumb b*tch gets sick, I bet she consults a doctor who you know, studied science.
Anyone who panders to racists while defaming other Black people cannot be trusted, but I bet if there were some scientific process, which could turn her white with more than just her faith and imagination, she would be right on board.
