Back in the late 90s/early 2000s, urban culture, fashion and sports came together as rappers and artists wore throwback jerseys and hockey jerseys.

Now, over two decades later, they’ve come back together in “sports culture” and apparel company FE is leading the charge with new styles focused on sustainability.

The brand has launched The Legends Collection that is, according to the release, a “limited-edition line of collectible reversible bomber jackets that pay tribute to some of the greatest players in hockey history.”

The exclusive collection, in collaboration with the NHL Alumni Association (NHLAA), the National Hockey League and Getty Images, honors the careers of NHL Legends Mark Messier, Wayne Gretzky, Martin Brodeur and others by fusing together style, nostalgia and craftsmanship.

“The Legends Collection gives fans the opportunity to honor their hockey heroes in a stylish and sustainable way,” said Bill Chang, CEO at FE. “This collection celebrates remarkable achievements by exceptional players and offers a chance to wear a piece of sports history.”

The collection is truly exclusive, producing only 99 pieces of each legend’s jacket and each style individually numbered from 1 to 99. The jacket is the first style in a growing line that will also include hoodies, each designed to blend the culture and heritage of hockey with contemporary, cutting-edge fashion trends.

“Our goal every day at the NHL Alumni Association is to ‘Honour the Past’ by making tomorrow better than today for all NHL Alumni and their families. Through these specially designed jackets, FE is furthering this mission and allowing fans to honour the legacy of iconic hockey heroes,” said Glenn Healy NHL Alumni Association, Executive Director and President.

The Legends Collection is carefully designed and crafted to celebrate the legacy of some of the greatest players in the sport. Not only are the colors, numbers and and other memorable images of each player included, but the jackets are also reversible, providing two distinct looks in one garment.

FE takes pride in the craftsmanship.
