This month, SiriusXM and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and host of The Karen Hunter Show, Karen Hunter, announced the launch of their latest podcast channel, the Women’s Empowerment Network.

The Women’s Empowerment Network (WEN) will consist of a range of podcasts featuring dynamic hosts. Every podcast’s main focus is to invigorate the network’s audience with informative content. This will include episodes about politics, finance, relationships, self-improvement and more.

“What I’m really doing with this podcast is inviting you into a conversation that will hopefully challenge you in ways that you didn’t think you would be challenged, but also introduce you to some amazing voices with some amazing and awesome outlooks on life,” Hunter says in the trailer. “I want to use this podcast as also a companion piece to the ‘Karen Hunter Show.’”

The Karen Hunter Show airs Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM EST on SiriusXM’s Urban View Channel 126. “Karen Hunter is Awesome” also drops new podcast episodes Monday through Friday and features popular Hunter themes such as ‘Motivational Mondays,’ ‘Foolishness Fridays,’ and a deeper dive into Hunter’s Friday ‘What to Watch’ lists.

“In this podcast, I get to let my hair down a little bit, sit with you, and really give you some insights into what makes me tick-ticks me but also things that bring me joy and the things I feel are important in the conversation.”

So far, Karen Hunter is Awesome features Karen Hunter Show fan favorites, including Amber Cabral, Tremell Mackenzie, Dr. Daniel Black and Drew McCaskill.

Additionally, on Dec. 9, the Women’s Empowerment Network launched the second podcast on the channel, “Financially Speaking.”

This podcast features a range of money experts looking to empower listeners through financial literacy. Each episode offers tips to grow wealth, navigate the workplace and create a lasting legacy. The podcasts, which air Monday through Friday, will feature different hosts who will share their expertise. For instance, on Mondays, Dr. Tonya Evans joins the network for her segment “Confidently Crypto,” which breaks down the significance and use of cryptocurrency.

The podcasts can be found on all major streaming platforms, as well as on the SiriusXM app. In 2025, Hunter plans to roll out even more podcasts on the Women’s Empowerment Network that will feature more Urban View favorites.

“The Women’s Empowerment Network is a destination where women can come together and be heard in ways that are authentic, uplifting, and transformative,” Karen Hunter told SiriusXM. “I’ve always believed in the power of women supporting each other, and I’m excited to have this new platform where we can rise together.”

Make sure to follow the Women’s Empowerment Network wherever you stream your podcasts to stay up to date on the latest from Karen Hunter and the Urban View family!
