In a conversation recorded before the election results, Karen Hunter explores the deep-rooted legacy of racism in American politics—a history which feels as pertinent today as ever.

The question remains: Is history repeating itself? Unfortunately, it appears so.

    About Karen Hunter

Karen Hunter is an accomplished American journalist, publisher, talk show host, author, and CEO of Karen Hunter Media. She has made a remarkable impact in various fields, garnering recognition as the host of the highly acclaimed “hottest show in the galaxy,” The Karen Hunter Show on SiriusXM. Starting her radio career at SiriusXM in October 2014, Hunter’s two-hour show expanded to three hours, and within a short span of two years, she not only became the host but also took on the responsibility of programming the entire Urban View Channel.

Under her guidance, the channel introduced popular shows such as The Laura Coates Show, The Clay Cane Show, Heather B. Live, The Lurie Daniel Favors Show, The Reecie Colbert Show, and The Shermichael Singleton Show. She further expanded her influence by launching a Sunday lineup called Sunday Civics, featuring Dr. Robin Smith, Qasim Rashid, Omi Bell, and L. Joy Williams. In 2023, Hunter brought The Women’s Empowerment podcast network to light, adding to her already impressive portfolio.
