June is pride month every year in the United States, and signifies a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. Without even being a week into the month, controversy has already kicked off with people like self-declared “journalist,” Ethan Schmidt, who pestered Target employees over the store’s pride month selection-calling it “satanic propaganda” in a video.
In the face of backlash, Target has redacted some of its pride merchandise, and released a statement that focused on protecting the safety of their workers and their ongoing support for the LGBTQ+ community.
Tune in to Karen Hunter and guests, Dante Nero and Roderick Morrow, as they discuss this instance, and Target’s reaction to right-wing hate.
