Mitchell Robinson
Team: New York Knicks
Year: Rookie
Stats: 13.0 PPG, 10.2 RPG, 4.0 BPG, 67% FG%
Summary: The former McDonald’s All-American was one of the draft’s biggest mysteries after electing not to play college basketball last season. But after a very impressive showing in Vegas, the Knicks may have gotten the steal of the draft in the second round.
This block by Mitchell Robinson is nuts. Look at the amount of ground he covers after defending the pick-and-roll. pic.twitter.com/LLMLj2wPrl

Robinson’s raw athleticism was on full display in the five games he played this summer. He led all Summer League players in blocks per game and was a dunking machine around the basket. For a player who didn’t play five on five for an entire season, Robinson also showed a decent feel for the game. The Knicks acknowledge Robinson’s conditioning isn’t quite where it needs to be yet, and he’ll likely need to bulk up to earn minutes for New York next season.
