Rockets at Thunder on 11/8
Carmelo Anthony’s time in Oklahoma City did not go according to plan. The so-called “OK3” never quite meshed, and the Thunder elected to trade Anthony, whose contract was bought out by Atlanta. Before his departure, Anthony blamed his struggles on the Thunder having “no strategy” ready to incorporate him into the team.
This time around, Houston has months to figure out how to fit Anthony alongside reigning league MVP James Harden and star point guard Chris Paul before training camp starts. Anthony will get an early crack at his old team when the Rockets visit Oklahoma City in November.
