Shoreditch has become the place to be in London after a KFC-themed pop-up hotel opened in the area.
But it will only be sticking around for 11 days.
The KFC hotel offers visitors a unique ‘staycation’ (for one night only) in England between Aug. 18-29 at the “House of Harland.”
Guests can ‘chick-in’ to a concierge service and will also have access to a private cinema room, where they play chicken-themed movies and a pick-up service to be driven to the suite in a black Cadillac — nicknamed the “Colonelmobile.”
Plus, there’s free chicken on offer.
“Each room is filled with delicious details, from a private cinema room, to a Finger Lickin’ ‘Press For Chicken’ button and Hot Winger Arcade Machine,” the company’s press release reads. “Indulge in the complimentary botanical infused self-care essentials” and “expect to see drumsticks in the detail, from bedding to wallpaper.”
It’s all in good fun and 100% of the pop-up’s proceeds will be going to charity.
For a night in the novelty hotel, guests can expect to fork out $154. Proceeds go to the KFC Foundation, which supports youth organizations. Guests are also given a $139 allowance to order KFC food to “prevent overconsumption,” a KFC rep told Insider.
Reservations can be made exclusively via Hotels.com — although it seems the hotel may already be booked up. Guests are only allowed to book for six of the 11 nights. Two nights are reserved for select KFC guests, and one is for a KFC competition winner.
KFC is not giving any details about what will go down on the remaining nights.
