Taking as our point of departure the fifth principle of Kwanzaa, “Nia” [Purpose], In Class leads up to our 200th weekly installment with a reflection on 2023 through our Africana Studies lens.

    In this installment, we will look forward to 2024 and beyond in advance of what is shaping up to be a pivotal year in contemporary human history.
