It’s the documentary we’ve all been waiting for.
This week, the A&E Network announced the upcoming docuseries of R&B legend Bobby Brown.
The series will give fans an up-close and personal look at Brown’s journey to superstardom and the fallout from his highly publicized battles with addiction and the tragic deaths of his two children and first wife, Whitney Houston.
Brown has sold 20 million records sold worldwide with R&B group New Edition throughout his career. As a solo artist, Brown has sold more than 12 million records, racked up five gold singles, three No. 1 R&B hits, a Top 100 No. 1 hit, the New York Times best-selling author.
The network will also premiere “Bobby Brown: Every Little Step,” a 12- episode that brings us to Brown’s present-day life with his wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown and their children. We will also get an exclusive look into Brown’s burgeoning business ventures, new music as well as the 2022 reunion with New Edition on The Culture Tour.
Brown has always been very candid about his controversial past.
In his memoir, “Every Little Step,” Brown said that drugs played a huge part in the demise of his marriage to Houston.
“The last few years of our marriage it was terrible,” he explained. “Both of us trying to be clean, or one of us trying to be clean… it was terrible.”
“Biography: Bobby Brown” two-night event airs Monday, May 30 and Tuesday, May 31 at 8 pm ET/PT.
“Bobby Brown: Every Little Step” premieres Tuesday, May 31 at 10 pm ET/PT, with new episodes airing Tuesdays at 9 pm ET/PT starting June 7.
