In early May, school science teacher who goes by the TikTok name, JaQ Lee, posted a video of his female students unbraiding his hair for him. He claimed he had a hair appointment after class and didn’t have enough time to take the style out himself.
“I didn’t have time to do it all by myself because it would’ve taken me forever, so naturally I asked about four or five of over 100 best friends to assist me in taking my hair out, and they all agreed,” he said.
The video swiftly went viral, and attracted controversy. Many viewers found it very unprofessional and creepy for an adult teacher to be letting female students unbraid his hair, and filming it as well. Now, Lee has reportedly been fired.
