Dwayne’ The Rock’ Johnson, the world-famous wrestler turned movie star who endorsed Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign against Donald Trump, says he will not repeat his endorsement for the upcoming election.
“Am I going to do that again this year? That answer’s no. I realize now going into this election, I will not do that,” Johnson said on Fox News.
“The endorsement that I made years ago with Biden was what I thought was the best decision for me at that time. I thought back then, when we talked about, ‘Hey, you know, I’m in this position where I have some influence,’ and it was my job then … to exercise my influence and share … who I’m going to endorse,” he continued, refusing to reveal who he would be voting for in November.
In this clip, Karen Hunter discusses Johnson’s remarks and dives into the potential damage a non-endorsement could do to Biden’s already wavering campaign.
