Sexton’s play gradually improved over the course of the Summer. After a solid first few games, the former Alabama point guard picked up his play as the pressure intensified. He scored 25, 17, 18, and 27 points in the Cavs four playoff games. Sexton showed how effective he could be playing in the open court and did a stellar job running the Cleveland offense. His impressive performances earned him first-team All-Vegas Summer League. Sexton is known as a supremely confident player. He’ll need all of that bravado, and then some to help fill the shoes left by LeBron James.
