Osaka Loves Video Games
When she’s not in competition, Osaka says she usually plays up to four hours of video games every day. Her favorite game is Overwatch. Osaka says she primarily likes to play as defensive characters in the first person shooter. Her love of gaming even permeates how she describes her tennis career.
“I know [tennis] is sort of my job and, like, if I were to say it, like, in a gaming term, then it’s sort of a mission that I have to complete,” Osaka told GQ. “I just sort of tune everything out and just try my best to complete the mission.”
