On a recent episode of her SiriusXM Urban View show, Lurie Daniel Favors talked to listeners about the major health problems, political corruption and the costs of being white in America.
According to Daniel Favors, we should be way more focused on the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is spreading rapidly without a vaccine or a cure, and Americans should be worried about this outbreak because germs and viruses can go anywhere and do not care about borders or political talking points.
“We act like germs obey borders,” she said. “We act like viruses listen to policy plans and policy positions.”
She also criticized the dismantling of public health infrastructure and accused Elon Musk’s DOGE effort of worsening conditions by cutting programs tied to disease prevention.
“When he says that the money that they canceled for Ebola was put back, it was not put back,” Daniel Favors said.
The host then turned to questions about President Donald Trump’s financial disclosures and reports that he benefited from stock trades connected to companies he publicly praised.
“They’re stealing everything from you again,” the seasoned attorney continued, addressing white listeners directly. “They’re taking job opportunities. They’re taking your farms.”
Daniel Favors took things a step further when she connected present-day politics to a longer history of wealthy white leaders dividing poor Europeans from Black and Indigenous people.
“What the wealthy white people understood was that if poor white people did not have a reason to reject working with the Blacks, the Indigenous and everybody else, that they were going to naturally work with the Blacks, the Indigenous and everybody else,” she said.
She then closed by urging white Americans to reject white supremacy and reconsider what they have traded away.
“You don’t have to be evil,” she stated. “And if you choose to at this point, then that raises a question for we the Blacks.”
