In an exclusive interview with TMZ this week, Lee Daniels, producer of Precious, The Butler and hit TV show Empire apologized to Damon Dash and vowed to repay the $2 million owed to the mogul.
Dash appears to accept the apology: “We’re good bro…appreciate the honesty…time to move forward let’s forget the bubble gum shit and get the money.”
Dash approached Daniels at a Diana Ross concert where he blasted him for not repaying him his money but for also shunning him and not even inviting him to the opening of Precious. You can see that exchange below.
