Born to a drug-addicted mother, Sonnie Johnson is a woman who makes no excuses in life. She believes if she can overcome a very difficult background, anyone can. In an interview with Karen Hunter on SiriusXM Urban View, Johnson talks about some of the missed opportunities within the Republican Party and how she is using her platform to have meaningful dialogue with white (and even racist) Republicans about how the world really is. She wants to be a bridge.

In this clip, she talks about how she is engaging with Trump supporters. For the full interview join TheHub.Global.
