If you are unfamiliar with Miami rapper Zoey Dollaz, you may soon see him emerge as an innovative entrepreneur. The “Blow A Check” rapper has launched an Uber-like car service aimed at combating rising gun violence and keeping celebrities safe while driving.

The car company, Aegis, is being championed as a premier armored car service that offers corporate and VIP transportation. In a social media post, Zoey Dollaz stated, “I own this bulletproof car service based out of Miami but we go anywhere from LA, ATL, NYC, TX, CHI, and more cities if necessary.” Adding, “ all cars are fully bulletproof to the highest level and come with trained armed drivers.”

Zoey Dollaz has had the idea for a while and created the company in response to increased gun violence. He knows firsthand how it impacts an individual. The 30-year-old rapper, whose real name is Elvis Milford, was shot and injured after leaving a party in Miami Beach in December of 2020. Fortunately for Zoey Dollaz, he survived but there are several others who have experienced the negative effects of gun violence and did not.

Artists who were victims of gun violence include Louisiana rapper JayDaYoungan, Memphis rapper Young Dolph, New York rapper Pop Smoke, Texas rapper Mo3, LA rapper Nipsey Hussle and multiple others. Zoey Dollaz told On The Radar Radio, “I created my bulletproof car service…because my peers, my rap friends, they’re in danger…They wait till we get onto the highway and try and spray us.”

He also noted that the car service can be beneficial to athletes as well. “Football players that come from the hood, they gotta go back to the hood and see their people, but we see the stories of them getting harmed up.”

Aegis appears to be growing its clientele and announced that the “summer is heating up” as their inventory is quickly being booked. The company even helped people navigate through Miami safely and was fully booked during the Rolling Loud festival in July. In addition to music and his car service, Zoey Dollaz owns a Haitian Hibachi-themed restaurant. “What keeps me wealthy is business. Real estate, restaurants, things that people need. Essential stuff that’s good for people” stated the “Post and Delete” rapper.
