About Inspiring Minds
They say it takes a village to raise a child, but what if the village is siloed? What if the village is under-resourced? What if the village is fighting to make ends meet and burned out? Inspiring Minds was designed as a collective impact approach to build community through multiple stakeholders from the community providing culturally responsive programs and experiences for Black and Brown youth.
Founded by Katrena Perou in 2019, she accomplished her goal by uniting multiple partners and stakeholders from the community to create the IM Leadership Institute, which provides the following services:
