Dante Nero joins Karen Hunter to where discuss the tragic killing of Tyre Nichols at the hands of five Memphis police officers.
The five now-former officers — Members of Memphis Police Department’s SCORPION unit Tadarrious Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Justin Smith and Desmond Mills Jr — have all been indicted and face one count of second-degree murder, aggravated assault, kidnapping, official oppression and two counts of official misconduct. Nichols was pulled from his vehicle during a traffic stop. Nichols fled but was caught by the officers, punched, kicked and beaten with a baton. He was and pepper-sprayed. Nichols was transported to St. Francis Emergency Hospital in critical condition but died three days later.
