All eyes will be on Machado’s free agency this offseason. But Machado could set his price tag with an impressive showing this postseason. He last played the divisional round of the postseason as a 20-year-old rookie in 2012. The Dodgers made the July trade for Machado hoping he could be the final piece to finally bring a World Series to Los Angeles. Machado has been one of baseball’s bright young stars for a long time. But a world series ring would a turning point for Machado as he heads into what could be a very lucrative offseason.
