Myles Turner

It’s a make or break year for Indiana’s promising 7-footer. Turner tantalized Pacers fans with an impressive sophomore campaign that appeared to leave him on the brink of stardom. While he wasn’t terrible last season, Turner’s minutes, points, rebounds and blocks all took a slight dip in his third year. All while back-up (and fellow breakout candidate) Domantas Sabonis emerged as a future starting center after an impressive first season with the Pacers. But fans shouldn’t sell their stock on Turner just yet. He’s still won’t turn 23 until March. It also appears Turner has finally taken concerns over his weight and conditioning seriously this past offseason. He made changes to his diet and used yoga to help shape his body.

Turner has all of the skills and physical tools you’d want out of a stretch five-man in today’s NBA. He’s a rim-protector who’s also adept in the pick-and-roll and a reliable outside shooter. If the lifestyle changes he made this summer translate to the court this season, Turner could be the Pacers’ number two scoring option next to all-star guard Victor Oladipo.
