Pras Michael, a rapper from the Fugees group, was convicted back in April of witness tampering, making illegal campaign straw donations and acting as an unregistered foreign agent for China. After being found guilty, Michael has claimed that his defense attorney used an AI program, Chat GPT, for his closing statement-which allegedly sounded like an admission to guilt. Now Michael is seeking a new trial with a new lawyer who claims his former defense attorney failed the rapper.
