Sean “Diddy” Combs may be “fighting for his life” amid federal charges related to sex crimes. Still, after the 14-page indictment was unsealed, many are now questioning whether the industry has been turning a blind eye to the music mogul’s crimes and for how long.

Combs was arrested on Monday (Sept. 16). The following day, Tuesday, the Southern District of New York announced that he had been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution.

Prosecutors allege the 54-year-old used his wealth and influence in the entertainment industry to build a “recurrent and widely known” pattern of sexual abuse.
