Sunday is designated as my writing day. I’ve added editing to that list with pieces now coming in for The Hub News that I have to put my eyeballs on. I’m working on a book, which I’m very excited about. I gave myself an end-of-June deadline, which means I have just a week to finish. I’m working with someone who is very driven and I want to make sure his book is great but I haven’t done this in a while. The last book I penned was with La La Anthony (The Love Playbook, a No. 1 New York Times bestseller in 2014).
I get lost in the words when I’m writing. The process, some of which I will be explaining in my writing Master Class in thehub.global next month, makes me laser focused. I spent most of the day writing and by the time I came up for air it was 11:26 p.m. and I had only gotten in 4,878 steps.
The vivofit day had ended, but mine had not.
I’m in a no-excuse zone. I have 25 more days to not just lose 18 pounds, but to be in the best shape I can get in. There are a lot of things I cannot control in my world, but this body is something I can. If you’re not on the #30Days journey, that’s fine. You should be doing something, however, everyday to improve your life. It doesn’t have to be fitness and weight. It can be reading or writing or learning a language or studying the Bible or practicing kindness.
