Carolyn Peck From ESPN

Carolyn Peck

Peck’s coaching career started hot out of the gates. In just two seasons at Purdue, Peck led Purdue University to the Elite Eight in her first year and a national championship in year two. At age 33, Peck was the youngest woman to win a Division I college basketball title in 1999 — a record that still stands to this day. Peck was named AP and Naismith Coach of the Year in her last season in Lafayette.

She would go on to coach in the WNBA and University of Florida before enjoying a long career as a college basketball broadcaster. Peck’s Purdue team remains the only Big Ten team to ever win a national title.
